Focus of the Muster will be on the year 1864 during its 145th Anniversary.  We will recreate events from BUZZARD'S ROOST, GEORGIA and the small skirmish of MT. PLEASANT, TENN!!  There will be TWO (2) PUBLIC BATTLE REENACTMENTS AND AN EVENING TACTICAL. FEDERAL AND CONFEDERATE INFANTRY CAMPS WILL BE IN THE WOODS AS AN "ARMY ON THE MARCH".  The Mid Michigan Civil War Muster will feature a complete set of events to include period military and civilian camps, company drills, the battle reenactments, a candlelight tour with various scenarios in the different camps, period fashion show, living history camps, games, drills etc.  The Deerfield Nature Park is an excellent facility to allow a truly unique experience for both the general public and the reenactor.   Please contact the Tenth Michigan Infantry at (989) 400-3904 or email at tenthmich@yahoo.com for more information AND REGISTRATION FORMS if you would like to join the muster. Pre-registration for reenactors is necessary so we have a full supply of wood and straw available to you.
